Reform can capture data from the host system, a user printing, an MFP, or a digital camera. Documents can then be routed through an approval process, tagged for distribution, printed, faxed, e-mailed or archived. |
Effortless Document Capture
Reform Enterprise can capture document information directly from a host system, a user printing from any application, an MFP equipped with FabSoft’s MOST, or even a Ricoh 500SE digital camera.
Host System
- When documents are printed from the host, Reform captures print stream data and adds an enhanced form overlay. The improved forms are automatically distributed to printers, fax, e-mail and archive systems – improving overall efficiency.
A User Printing
- Documents can also be captured when a user prints from their application. Upon printing, users can configure distribution to printers, fax numbers, e-mail addresses, and archive systems from the Reform Print Driver Menu.
Modular Object Scanning Technology (MOST)
- The optional MOST component provides on-demand management of multiple document types from the convenience of the MFP. MOST transforms MFPs into a document portal and allows users to scan to printers, fax, e-mail and archive systems, and specify options for each destination. The appearance of the MOST interface can be customized in order to accommodate specialized activities and unique document workflows.
Snap Doc
- With Snap Doc, pictures taken with a Ricoh 500SE digital camera are automatically associated with related documents and distributed as needed. Snap Doc is valuable for any organization that takes digital photographs – insurance, healthcare, construction, shipping, law enforcement, retail, etc.
Automatic Document Distribution
Once the document has been captured, Reform intelligently determines where it needs to be routed and automatically sends them to the correct destinations – saving valuable time and reducing the risk of error. Documents are sent to:
Printers, Fax, Email, Archive
- Documents can be printed to any printer or MFP with all finishing options — such as bin and tray selections, collating, stapling and duplexing. Reform also automatically faxes and e-mails documents according to data in the print stream, or details entered with the Reform Print Driver or MOST. Additionally, Reform intelligently stores documents to any directory in a digital archive using custom index information.
TagDoc
- TagDoc adds bar codes to documents so they can be archived and/or routed to multiple destinations, so the progress of the entire workflow can be monitored. It is ideal for tracking documents that need to collect notations or signatures, such as contracts and pick tickets.
Document Authority Control (DAC)
- DAC provides administration so the route of critical document processes can be supervised and regulated. DAC ensures that the necessary people are viewing important paperwork before they are processed and enables control over vital document procedures involving financial transactions, legal communications, human resources, etc.
